Peerless HDS200 HD Flow Pro Wireless Multimedia KitI have an older home that I have been remodeling which of course has included snaking cabling everywhere: network, TV, security cams and other devices. But I have dreamed of wireless media connections to share my entertainment devices. The HD Flow Pro Wireless Multimedia Kit has started to fulfill that dream.The HDS200 includes a transmitter, receiver, remote control, IR extender and IR Flasher. The range of the transmission is listed at 131 feet line of sight. You can also connect both devices over a LAN connection still save on cabling all the different types of connections: HDMI, Component, AV, etc.At the transmitter end you can connect 2 HDMI devices, 1 AV (video with two audio), and a PC/Component (included adapter connects component to VGA/computer port). This allows you to connect and control a wide variety of devices including DVD player, media player, security cam and even a computer.On the receiver end you have the options to connect via AV, Component, and HDMI. With the IR Extender you can hide the receiver behind your TV and still use the included remote control.The distance between my transmitter and receiver is about 75 feet with 4 internal walls in between. The transmitter is in my entertainment room where all the goodies are. The receiver is in my bedroom at the other end of the house connected to a TV. I have tried both HDMI and Component on the TV end. If I am watching TV switching to Component is a bit faster connection but HDMI is a slightly better video and includes the audio where Component requires separate audio connection.Read more ›

Edit/update: I had to update my review to praise Peerless for the awesome customer service I received. I had a problem getting a signal to display on either monitor of my 2 receiver setup. After 3 hours of mucking with the devices myself I finally called for help. After 20 minutes the tech, who was friendly and knowledgeable and very American, had me change out the HDMi cable from the source to the transmitter. Boom, problem solved. I couldn't believe I never thought to check that myself. In the process of trying to get things working myself I managed to hose one of the kits (possibly by removing a thumb drive during the update process). Within 2 business days I had a whole new kit on my doorstep. Companies like this deserve recognition.Original review: This kit works flawlessly. I am a DJ and I run video to two screens with the HDS200. Having the ability to run wireless greatly decreases my setup and tear-down times. In the work I do it is mission critical that the video work every time. In a live performance you only get one shot to get it right.Prior to the Peerless system you could expect to spend $10k easily for the same functionality. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. For the price it simply cannot be beat.

I am using 3 of these kits at my office for our conference rooms. The estimated to run cables under ground was in the upwards of $2,000.00 since extensive drilling into concrete is required. So I needed a wireless solution. I've tried others like Iomega and none of them worked like this one. I highly recommend this product as your wireless hdmi solution. Remember power on the receiver then the transmitter.

Bought the kit plus one extra receiver. Setup was fairly easy...make sure to use the download files to usb thumb drive to setup the transmitter and recvr 1, then do recvr 2. (Make sure to watch the online video first). Used the units for about a week and a half, then recvr one would freeze up the video output after about an hour and a half. I then called tech support, they quickly and clearly walked me thru my situation, had me get a code from the back of the recv'r and then.... this is where it really gets good!They shipped me out a replacement unit right away and had preprogrammed the replacement to be plug and play for my present transmitter,,, that's right, I didn't have to go thru the setup again. They then had me put the bad unit in the replacement units shipping box, print out a shipping labelm that they emailed me... that's right, they paid the return freight... and then I dropped the unit off with the shipper. How easy is that !!!I only wish that they could have more than 4 receivers.Great units, flexible configuration and fantastic customer service.One suggestion, when you push the info button to get data about the units to appear on the screen, they should show which channel you are on...whether it be 1 or 2.Please be assured that the quality and customer service are TOPS!!!!

I have returned two other cheaper units that just didn't work at all. Even 20 feet line of sight gave them problems but this unit with the 5.8 ghz works much better, perfect and so does the remote control pass through.I highly recommend it and worth the extra money unless you want to slowly go poor paying shipping on returns of other ones..
