This unit appealed to me for several reasons:-Enclosed cabinet to minimize dust from settling onto components.-Large smoked glass doors to view and remote control components.-Ventilated shelving.-Slotted shelves and easily removable back panels to facilitate maintenance, cable management and component access.-Finish, while not an exact match, mostly blends in with existing furniture. The unit is heavy and seems solidly constructed. While it's not constructed with true solid woods (it has "wood solids" and veneers), I am more than satisfied with the construction quality and finish and the price seems appropriate. I actually ordered the PR-12 model the first time, which I had to return immediately due to the damage it incurred from shipping with FedEx, which despite the hassle, I guess was a good thing, because I decided the PR-11 was a better match anyway. The PR-11 was delivered with the "white glove" service professionally, quickly, and without damage from CEVA. This unit comes in a large box with lots of styrofoam and super-hard cardboard pieces to protect the edges. There were a few very minor spots where some stain was missing and no stain pen was included as reviewers have mentioned for other Bell'o products, so I emailed them requesting one so I can touch it up and make it perfect. But as I said, they are very minor and not in very noticeable spots -- the unit arrived in great shape. You will most likely have to spend some time adjusting the glass doors to align them better than they come out of the box, and as much as I enjoy tinkering with things, I would have preferred these were aligned properly at the factory.Read more ›

This Entertainment center is BEAUTIFUL! Looks great in my living room and holds all of my components. I currently have a 55" Sony flat screen resting on top while my cable box, A/V Receiver, Blu-Ray player, and XBOX reside inside. The shelves are vented and help reduce heat build up inside the unit. My center channel speaker is housed behind the mesh grille in the center and sounds great! Really helps clean up the look of my electronics and seems like it will last for years! I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone with nice audio/video equipment who wants to store everything in one place. It also has a great cable management system to cut down on visible wires

My initial cabinet was severely beat up in shipping including a broken glass door. I refused delivery. The lesson to be learned here is to carefully inspect the delivered cabinet. Be careful unpacking it as there are some small feet that can be torn off. The second cabinet is beautiful and well built. It's large so make sure you have room for it. A very good buy.

I was blessed enough to purchase this audio cabinet(May12) from the Best Buy(closing)in Epa,for less then any dealer in the world-willing to sell such a beautiful piece at such a "blow-out price($325)...the design is sleek, the wood grain/color is so elegant and the tempered black-glass doors are the "icing" on a ring-less finger(lol) Fits all 8 audio components including my subwoofer which is hidden behind a door with mesh(perfect for a center speaker),it brings out the color in my bamboo flooring-has cable management,3-rear panels to isolate & get to cords w/out tools & it can hold a huge flat screen securely/its worth $899..AND BELL'O CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE VERY BEST I'VE EVER CALLED UPON HANDS-DOWN!!!!!

Very nice piece. Comes fully assembled and mine did not have any marks on it. I had it unpacked and in place within an hour or two. Great piece of furniture for the ~750 price point. Price Pros was awesome in helping make sure this was delivered as I needed it.

We received the cabinet in perfect condition and lives up to the description stated. Delivery was ontime and the delivery personnel were so polite and accommodating that I was really taken aback. I would definitely purchase from this company again.

There's not much more I can add to the review that hasn't already been touched on by the previous reviewers. The quality, fit and finish is extremely good (especially with Amazon's great prices!) and I bought this item primarily because of it's modern and sleek look. I love the smoky windows and even though they appear very dark, you can still see the lights from your various components shine through. The center speaker grill/slot is quite big and should accommodate most center speakers out there. As the other reviewer mentioned, it's better to remove the speaker grille so that your speaker won't sound so muffled. The slight drawback is that the ventilation is not the greatest (hence deducting a point, well 0.5 really). If you have components that run extremely hot (i.e. first generation PS3), then you MUST leave the cabinet door open, else it literally can become a furnace in there. You can pretty much forget about putting any type of tube amplifiers in there. Now, a word about the delivery service: please make sure that TWO people to help deliver this product and make sure to ask them not prop it up vertically, to try to keep it horizontal. With the box, this thing is an absolute beast and very heavy. The sides of the box are not as well protected as the top and bottom and if it is delivered by 1 person, chances are they will try to (like in my case) load it up vertically on a dolly. Huge mistake, the sides of the box are quite thin and doesn't have as much padding as the top/bottom. Furthermore, the sides of the cabinet are not made of thick wood, it is also very thin. The delivery guy tried to load it up on the dolly, slipped the lip of the dolly halfway under the box and then tried to physically lift it at a 45' angle for leverage. Well guess what, CRACK went the media center.Amazon was helpful in getting the thing replaced and should not be faulted. However, I would just be careful with how it is delivered.
