The Avion Series II Model 8928 cabinet is a perfect choice for smaller systems or anywhere the TV needs to be a little higher--like in a bedroom. The lower doors reveal adjustable component compartments and a dedicated home for a gaming console. The two shelves are adjustable and rest on threaded and cushioned shelf supports to minimize transmittal of vibrations. The top compartment holds a center channel speaker, media and/or additional components. The 8928 features IR-friendly, grey tinted glass windows in the doors that allow for easy remote control access. The integrated wheels allow the entire cabinet to be rolled away from the wall and integrated levelers to compensate for uneven floors. Flow-through ventilation slots are machined into the bottom, shelves and back panels to facilitate cooling airflow, protecting components from overheating.
The Avion Series II is the ideal choice for a flat panel TV (up to 50”) and a small to medium-sized home theater system, accommodating up to 8 components. For an alternative mounting option, this model works well with BDI’s Arena Flat Panel TV Mount 9972 (sold separately), which allows positioning the TV to stand even higher and adds swiveling for optimal viewing.

I purchased this cabinet a few months ago. It is beautiful and suits my home theater perfectly. The top speaker compartment fits my entire Bose system, the lower part of the cabinet is fully adjustable, and there's even a center spot that we use for the X-box.The cabinet comes fully assembled (just have to add a little bit of hardware). The packaging is great, and everything arrived in excellent condition. The finish is beautiful.I checked out the company that makes this (BDI) and they are known for high quality home theater furniture, and their expertise shows! Every detail has been addressed... from concealed wheels in the legs to wire management channels (they even give you Velcro strips for your cables!). My favorite is that the back panel easily goes in and out. I am still fiddling with my setup and going in and out is very easy.I really think this was a great value. I was a little put off by the price, but this is not some disposable TV stand... this is going to be with me for life. I am already considering another model for the bedroom. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
