Even though this arm is awesome and It's perfect for my needs I still don't think it should cost $700, which is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.I really wanted something like this to mount behind the headboard of my bed so I could float a monitor above me and use my custom built gaming computer while in bed. I was worried I would regret the purchase due to the price and no prior reviews. Not the case. I'm glad I bought it even though it set me back 7 bills. I had the money to blow so why not.The arm is solid and heavy, you may need help mounting it on your wall, I did. It's not made to be mounted in the studs found in most modern home's walls, I had to bolt it onto two 2 x 6 boards I screwed between two studs in my wall. May be considered a bit of an eye sore to some but I don't mind, I could paint the boards to match the wall and make it look nicer.the monitor is super easy to maneuver. It doesn't take any effort due to it being gas powered. very smooth. Solid.I have no idea how to run my HDMI cable and monitor power cable through it, the hole is big enough for the wires but not quite big enough for the heads. So I just zip tied them to the outside of the arm, not as nice looking but it works. I could make a custom cloth cover for it to cover it up, we'll see.the instructions are not super helpful, they look like they were written by an 8 year old, I actually laughed out loud reading them.I bought this monitor for it.http://www.amazon.com/Asus-VS247H-P-23-6-Inch-Full-HD-LED-Lit/dp/B005BZNDS0/ref=sr_1_cc_1?Read more ›
