4 out of 5 stars Very nice.

There is a big difference between TV stands and TV furniture, this is the latter.Be advised this unit is BIG and HEAVY, even with the hidden wheels its tough to move fully loaded on carpet (as expected). Ventilation is good, not great, gear still gets hot. IR not affected by the glass. All my gear fits inside with room to spare, Xbox 360, PS3, AVR (had amp and pre-pro in before, Wii, center channel, network hub and NAS, could easily fit a cable box + something else inside. Good wire management.Doors will need adjustment upon arrival as noted in the manual, not difficult at all.Fingerprint magnet! Gloss white probably not so much.I'll assume this is just MDF with really nice glass and finish, which is too bad (unless it holds up) given the pricetag...but it was the only one that I liked the look of. I'm certain you could find something cheaper but equally nice.

5 out of 5 stars Nice, sleek TV stand

Purchased my unit recently at Magnolia (on sale) which was surprisingly much cheaper than Amazon. We were looking for something to replace our trusty Z-Line metal frame/glass shelf stand which had become a little too tight for our components. The Marina unit was perfect for us due to its size, ability to easily hold multiple components, and its gloss black finish (we were not interested in anything wood grain). The unit come essentially fully assembled, which is awesome. You just add the back panels when you're done placing your components/wires, and you're basically done. The gloss black finish looks fantastic with our Samsung plasma and Def Tech speakers (which are also gloss black). The unit is well ventilated, and does a great job keeping most of the wires hidden out of sight. I did not want to spend this much on a tv stand, but when you take in consideration the design, functionality, finish, and quality, the BDI Marina is well worth it.

3 out of 5 stars BDI MARINA CREDENZA

The cabinet itself arrived with a broken hinge, however after contacting BDI directly they did send me a replacement. Its to be noted that this was done only after contacting them a second time asking "wheres that hinge you were sending me ".The cabinet itself is nice and is of good quality ,despite being made in china. As for the price,I would say its deffinately over priced. This being its biggest downfall.even a thousand dollars for this unit would be pushing it and I say this based on what else Ive seen around since my purchase at other furniture galleries. I purchased this unit sight unseen via internet and used its price as an indicator of what my expectations should be. I hope you find this review helpfull.

5 out of 5 stars Best unit for vintage stereo components and a mid century look.

I bought this cabinet almost 2 years ago. It's the only cabinet large enough to accommodate high end 60's and 70's power and pre amps. I am extremely pleased with it, and feel it is a bargain at about 2 grand. It rolls great on tile floors, making cleaning behind it a breeze. The finish in white is spectacular, really great contrast with the black glass doors. Fit and finish is excellent and the slow closing hinges enhance the quality feel.

5 out of 5 stars and it is great for seamlessly holding all my components

I have the white model, and it's absolutely stunning. I get comments on it all the time, and it is great for seamlessly holding all my components, and I have a lot of them, and the wire harness system makes it all really clean in the back. Nice solid wood construction and well built.
