Came in good condition and putting it together wasn't too hard either. Quality is better than expected and it looks great too. Have to admit I was a little nervous buying it online without having seen it in person as photos and acutal itme can be quite different. But this one exceeded my expectation. Very happy with it.

Why do these do-it-yourself furniture kits always require a person to assemble and reassemble the thing two or three times before they get it right? This one was no different. Why? Because the two most important supports (that seem to attach to everything else) did NOT have sticker labels on them, so it was unclear which went on the right and which went on the left. They LOOKED identical. But, of course, they were not. Two little peg holes on the top were in reverse position. So, when you have everything else put together and you're putting the top onto it (with all its holes lined up directly over about 40 projecting pegs and screws and popping it down tightly) of course it does not fit! I thought the problem was that the holes had been drilled incorrectly so I called the company for a remedy. I'd bought the cabinet because I'd just moved and had been using a kitchen table as a stand for the TV. I didn't love this stand, but it wasn't a horrible clash with other furniture and it would do for a while. I was having guests and really needed the kitchen table to be in the kitchen so I could use it for meal preparation, so getting this put together quickly was important. The lady at the company told me the answer was to take some needle-nose pliers and pull out the plastic inserts that narrowed the peg holes into screw holes and put new inserts into the opposite holes. I asked if she could please send them Fed-Ex or via one-day mail so I could have things straightened out before I started preparing for guests. She said, no, that she could not. They had a policy against that. Then I mentioned I'd be writing a review online, so she might want to rethink that. So, she told me she'd do her best and would ask "top management." A FANTASTIC STAND! Really nice to look at and really heavy. No chance this will tip over. Balances well and doors close nicely. Very good choice.

Comes unassembled. The packaging was adequate, but my room ended up with tons of styrofoam bits in it. Putting it together was fairly straightforward. It is a nice cabinet, well built.
