Sleek Design And Intelligent Features – It’s The Center Of Entertainment
The Avion Series II Model 8925 cabinet looks great flat against the wall, but the tapered rear panels also allow it to nestle neatly into a corner. The doors conceal two adjustable compartments to house components and two side shelves that can be used for media or gaming console storage. The shelves rest on threaded and cushioned shelf supports to minimize transmittal of vibrations. IR-friendly, grey tinted glass windows in the doors allow easy remote control access. The 8925 features integrated wheels that allow the entire cabinet to be rolled away from the wall and integrated levelers to compensate for uneven floors. Flow-through ventilation slots are machined into the bottom, shelves and back panels to facilitate cooling airflow, protecting components from overheating.

This is a beautiful cabinet, but be aware of shipping. The cardboard box was damaged during transit and caused some minor damage to the cabinet(small scratches and a couple of small dents on one corner).A piece of furniture this large and heavy needs to be shipped on a pallet and strapped down.

Upside: This item is pretty expensive for a corner cabinet, but the actual unit is really really nice. It is solid construction with all the right hardware. The doors are all on european hinges (adjust them in any direction with just a screwdriver), the back is removable and vented, the shelves and bottom also have vents. The roller you see on the bottom feels like steel, not some sort of bent sheet metal.Downside: Another reviewer hit it on the head - shipping for this is a real problem. We did it twice and both times it looks like the box was airdropped into our driveway. Both times the unit was very damaged inside the box (the packing was pretty good inside, but still it took some whacks somewhere along the line). Returns for this was awful, UPS kept sending people out who could not lift it or did not have the return label. The cable management is okay - aside from having holes for cables in the bottom and back of the unit, the cable management is a few pieces of velcro. The hole placementAfter attempt number two, we found a local furniture store that carried it and got it for the same price about. They also assembled it.In summary: It is set up and in my corner and I loved working with it (I have a lot of electronics). Just don't have it shipped to you.

A friend suggested I get this media cabinet and I'm not disappointed. High quality craftsmanship, easy set-up and it looks amazing. While it is pricey, you get what you pay for.

I have been looking at BDI cabinets for years and was always afraid to take the bite out of my credit card for one. I am glad I did. This houses my Sony Receiver, Sony Blu Ray, Wii, Media PC, Satellite Receiver, Monster Power surge suppressor, and a network switch with room to spare. Construction quality has no equal in home furniture!
