Decent Furinture for the price, poor packaging kills the experienceX. Tan
My original order was delivered on time, with packaging badly damaged: corners are all smashed up, and lots of wholes on edges and even the faces. after opening it up, I found several pieces, including bottom and top board are badly damaged.I called customer service, and they offered a free replacement and ask me to ship back existing one back -- I can understand the returning policy, but practically, does it worth it? Spending $$$ just to ship back already damaged furniture pieces in an already broken packaging?Anyway, got the replacement on time, which was good. The down side is, the packaging was also badly damaged upon arrival. I faced a dilemma: Go through another painful process of packing and haul the 107lb thing to UPS office? or accepting the defects and keep at least one? After some back and forth negotiation with Amazon, I kept the less defective one with a discount. After two weeks, I can finally clean up the messes left in the garage by the two broken packages.Back to the furniture itself. It's easily damaged because it's made of low grade wood (although it's solid wood), but for the price, you will probably get that type of wood anyway. With the help of a power drill and different types of drill bits, putting it together is not very painful. When everything is pieced together, it does look decent. Hope you will find my review useful.

The TV Stand is great quality! Its real wood which I was skeptical about but that is very true. I received mine damaged one of the pieces that holds the drawers the brackets was bent upon arrival. I immediately contacted the store through Amazon and told them the issue and they contacted me asking for pictures of the damage, and shortly after responded that they will replace the broken piece. I love the stand, the storage, the color everything I love about it. I also read reviews before my purchase how it was so complicated to put together and it took hours. Well if you have common sense you should be fine I'm six months pregnant and put this together by myself in less than an hour .Every piece is labeled of coarse there's a left and a right for most of the pieces that come as pairs but that's where common sense comes in its obvious to tell what should face the front and the directions are really clear. All the screws, lock nuts and everything are all labeled as well so you can't mess up the assembly.

Absolutely beautiful!! Far exceeded my expectations. Very well packaged. Not a piece missing nor were there any scratches or nicks. The color is a bit barker than it appears on the picture but it was exactly what I wanted. It only took 2-1/2 hours to put together (and that included a couple of breaks for the phone, doorbell, etc). Directions were well written. Just a note on the tools that I used in lieu of the recommended: I used a multi-bit screw driver, phillps bit & hex bit-(instead of the supplied hex tool). I also used a low torque drill for the back panels-yes they supplied phillips head screws instead of those little tacks that comes with most furniture backing. Very solid piece of furniture suitable for any room. You don't really have to use it as a TV stand. It looks great as a buffet or a stand-alone piece. Definitely would recommend.

I had been searching for an entertainment center found this, read the reviews and decided to take a chance. I is better than any I have seen at the furniture stores and for much less. I put 99% of this together by myself in less than 2 hours. I laid everything out in the order on the parts page. It looks great and fits perfectly into our color scheme.

This is a great looking TV stand from Simpli Home. It far exceeded our expectations in quality and appearance. The online photos do not do it justice. This unit is exactly what we were looking for - a tv stand with storage! It's perfect. The color is darker than the picture, which was fine with me. Assembly took a while but for the price you just can't complain. I wish the doors were a little more heavy duty, but otherwise we are very happy and pleased with this product.

Ordered this item on 5/8, it arrived 5/20 and I paid to have it shipped quicker.The cabinet itself is really nice, it fits perfectly under our TV. Assembly was a little tricky and I had to undo a few of my mistakes, but once I got it together and had standing upright everything fits together well. I love that its solid wood rather than pressed wood or laminate. The color is great, seems solid and should last for awhile. It won't be a family heirloom but it will work for us for now.
Great Stand for a Larger TVSteve M
This item arrived very quickly and was packaged very well. Despite the damage to the box (I was very concerned about the contents due to multiple punctures and dents) the component pieces were all in good shape due to the many levels of Styrofoam and Cardboard. Assembly was lengthy and did require a bit of space . However, the components fit well together making for a very stable platform for larger tv's (I own a 55 inch, 135Lb flatscreen). I would recommend having a flat glass scraper handy for cleaning the glass due to lacquer over spray though.
