Great piece of furnitureGift Card
I've bought a number of low cost, unassembled pieces of furniture. This is, by far, the best. I don't know how much actual wood this thing is made of but it really doesn't matter. You cannot tell the difference. I had been looking for a dark cherry, corner entertainment center to match my wood bedroom furniture for years and never found a decent looking solution. This TV stand looks elegant, appears sturdy and matches the other furniture perfectly! And, the construction is straight forward. It takes a while but, if you can work a screw driver, you can do it. The door handles are of questionable design and I wish it had another cable access hole in the back but those are minor drawbacks. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful piece. Yes it is darker than the picture,more tobacco looking than cherry. I had read this from another comment and it was what I wanted. I have a 50" plasma sitting on it and it works just fine. I was mostly impressed with the packing, the best packing job I have ever seen and a good thing too as the box was dented and banged up.

In general, this piece is not that bad, but is not a good value for the $360 asking price. Delivery was a bit slow and in unpacking he first problem showed up. Each piece is wrapped in thin foam which is ok, Buthelezi separator a and the perimeter packing are some strange very light foam which crumbles and leaves hundreds of tiny balls and flecks which cling to everything, you, the floor, each piece of the unit. They are hard to get off, and float awy to cling to other things in the work area. Better packing foam needed.Each piece is identified by a small paper sticker with a code letter. Unfortunately they are very hard to remove and require saturating with skin so soft or goo gone type product to get them loose. Once off they leave residue which must be gotten off also.Parts fit is only fair. Machining of the holes and cam lock recesses is not so good. By the way be prepared. This is a kit of major proportions. There are about 30 pieces to the cabinet and over a hundred pieces of hardware and screws.assembly was pretty straightforward until fitting the cam locks. They are junk. Made of some type of white or pot metal and are pretty fragile. Just a slight over torque or misalignment and the snap, leaving parts of them in the recesses which are difficult to remove.The finish of the wood is marginal and not even at all.My unit had a damaged edge on the front cornice which I was able to repair and refinish. The second shelf for equip,ent had had two nasty indentations in it. Not pretty but I didn't see this or the cornice damage until the unit was mostly assembled. Waiting to see I'd replacements parts will be sent and some sort of refund or rebate with the edge damage, shelf damage, and overall problems.This could be a great unit I'f ajuga bit more attention to detail was given.Be prepared for about three hours assembly time.
Good piece of furnature and very functionalJMF
I think it is great. Had a corner cabinet but was sized out going for a bigger TV. This one is attractive, and functional. I put it together myself in an hour and a half. Fits exactly in the corner for a 50" TV.

Once constructed, this looks really nice. But it is really heavy and takes a lot of patience and time (3+ hours) to put together.

More than satisfiedJ. Middledorf
Very well packaged. A couple very minor flaws in construction but everything came together beautifully and flaws are only visible to me. Definitely takes a couple hours to assemble but it's a large sturdy piece of furniture. Perfect for my 50" TV. Dark cherry finish goes beautifully with my other cherry furniture. Highly recommend this credenza!
Nice unit but parts damaged during shippingLL
We had issues with 5 parts being damaged during shipping. Home Styles was very responsive and sent out replacement parts quickly. The replacement parts are not exactly the same color and one of the door hinge locations was over an inch off. Luckily my husband was able to drill new holes and we finally got the unit together. The unit itself is very nice and fits perfectly in the corner. I would recommend that Home Styles find a way to send with better protection so there is not so much damage.
