Good for use with Synergy systemJohn
I bought this mount to use with the Synergy 237 and have to say that while it works well for its purpose it may be a little daunting for the average user to assemble and install on their Synergy system. Instructions were clear enough to allow assembly but without a rubber mallet and a little lube for the retaining pins (a little difficult to explain here but would make sense during assembly) putting this together would be nearly impossible. Banging away to seat the main supports would not be for the faint of heart and I found that a little lube helped considerably. Once assembled I was able to mount an LG 55LE8500 without too much difficulty and was reasonably assured it would stay where mounted. Overall I like the product but the amateur assembler might want to get some help.
Alternative to wall mounLeslie W. Hodges
A little difficult to put together, but all parts fit well and the finished product looks great as an alternative when you cant do a wall mount. Price is a bit stiff at $500k, but the end result is very good.
