I have a Four Winds Thor 19G motorhome. When I am out in the boonies at night, there isn't much to do, bored like hell! So I figure, after watching the stars, comets and galatic sky, I need to be back to earth to watch TV. Thus, I got this Satellite Dish Antenna. A dealer installed it for me, no problem at all. Now it is up and running whenever demanded. Reception is good. I am glad I got the "in-motion" version, more expensive than the stationery ones. Other than the price difference, I think the in-motion can pick up signal better since the dish antenna can manuver itself to point at the right signal. Of course, the obvious advantage of in-motion is the capability to watch TV while the motorhome is moving. I can watch TV or listen to satellite radio when I drive. What a life and what a toy!!! If you are wondering... I say go for it... P.S. Programming on Dish Network is great too! Latest update as of 5/7/2013: A huge drawback since I have discovered that this antenna can not receive signals from 118.7 which provides international programming. I have emailed Winegard that they need to stay in step with Dish network programming. Thus, I have to take back 2 stars because that's a big problem for me who loves the variety of shows in international programming. Hope soon Winegard will have an dish upgrade for this signal!

THE RT4000 FINDS THE SATELLITE IN LESS THAN ONE MINUTE AND WHEN THE RV IS MOVING IT VERY SELDOM LOSES THE SIGNAL (ONLY UNDER THE OVERPASSES, IN THE TREE LINED ROADS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND IN A BIG TURN). IT FINDS THE SATELLITE IMMEDIATELY WHEN IT DOES LOSE THE SIGNAL. THE FIRST ONE OUT OF THE BOX WAS DEFECTIVE AND WINEGARD SENT ME A BRAND NEW ONE. THIS HAPPENS VERY, VERY INFREQUENTLY BECAUSE THEY ARE CHECKED OUT THREE TIMES BEFORE SHIPMENT. GOOD SERVICE AND EXCELLENT TECHNICAL SUPPORT.

Our in motion satellite works great and its not as boring in the truck anymore. If your going to be on the road, this is a must have. It is worth every penny we spent on it.
