I bought this stand after a lengthy research on the Internet and hours of argument with my wife. This turned out to be a good decision. Delivery took a little time, especially since it was shipped all the way from Utah. The biggest issue I had, however, was that Fedex left the box outside my door without ringing the bell or knocking. Luckily it was a heavy package so nobody stole it until we found out what happened.Putting the pieces together took about 2 hours, which was very reasonable. Instructions were adequate and I did all the assembling by myself so it wasn't too bad. There were no extra screws or other locking materials so if you lose or break one you'll be out of luck. The sliding door mechanism appears to be a little weak and the doors don't close all the way to the left of right due to the roller locations so it leaves a small gap in both ends. Again not a big deal. The black finish does look very attractive but the surface is quite susceptible to scratches. Be careful when you turn the top over when putting it together. I suggest placing a table cloth or carpet underneath to prevent damages to the top. Don't make the same mistake that I did. We're happy so far with the stand and have received quite a bit of complements from our friends.

The item looks nice and is good quality for the price. The stand had a warped door rail which made assembly challenging. I needed the TV stand right away so I didn't have time to call about a new piece so I assembled as was. The door doesn't slide the greatest but it works for my needs. I did not like that the shelves are not adjustable so you are stuck with the configuration. The shelves are not high enough to stand DVDs so using the stand for other storage is difficult. If you have multiple gaming systems, cable box, dvd player, etc hooked up to your TV this is an ideal stand.

It was easy to assemble and looks great beneath our 55" flat screen. We hung the TV on the wall, had all the cords/power moved too. Now i have a nice space below the TV to display plants, pictures and such! The only thing i can say bad, was the hardware assembled to the sliding doors is not perfectly aligned with the cabinet... but since i put it together i'm the only one who notices- one door is not exactly even across the top.

This item looks great! However, the problems started when I tried to place my A/V components for the TV in the cabinet. Since it is divided into 4 sections, the side and lower shelves are very narrow - way too small for a typical blu-ray player, direcTV DVR, A/V receiver, or center speaker. They are also not very deep.I was only able to fit the DirectTV DVR and a small A/V receiver on the two upper-middle shelves (only one will fit on each shelf). It is disappointing that with this enormous cabinet I have to put my BluRay player on top of the cabinet since they won't fit inside! The side shelves are not usable for much of anything and forget a center-channel speaker.

It looks very nice, and we were challenged to find an entertainment center to fit our TV, but the assembly on this system was really rough. It uses the "screw and cam" system to secure every surface, and the depth of the screws had to be adjusted several times during assembly to make it line up well. The quality of the screws and cams is bottom grade (pewter? plastic?), so they were easy to break and strip out and distort. The pieces themselves are the typical particleboard grade, heavy and with low durability and water-resistance.It's doing the job we ask of it, but I'll shop around a bit more for my next entertainment center.

I like this console. It looks nice, is very sturdy and was easy to assemble with two people in about 2 hours. It is heavy! The only negative comment I have is that the shelves are not high enough to store a DVD case upright. All of my dvds have to sit on their long dimension to fit into the unit.

This is an amazing piece of furniture, especially when you consider the price point of under $500. It was relatively easy to put together and it seems really well made. About my only complaint would be that the brackets used to attach all the pieces don't seem to hold tight. The first time I went to move it the top separated and I had to reassemble it.All-in-all we are very pleased with this purchase!

This product looks great, the quality of the wood is real good, comparable stand would cost a lot more, it does require 2 people to put the stand together but instructions and installation was overall pretty easy, takes about 2 hours to put together, but an awesome stand and very sturdy. Great addition to my living room.
